Lawrence – Richard Holak, 61 of Lawrence, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at his home.
Born in Lawrence on August 1, 1952, Richard was the son of Anthony and Rita (Endyke) Holak. He attended St. Patrick’s Grammar School and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1971. He graduated from North Adams State College with a bachelor's degree in education. He was a member of the British Club in South Lawrence and the APA Pool League.
Richard will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Richard's life by gathering for calling hours on Thursday, June26, 2014 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home , Inc. 233 Lawrence Street, Methuen, MA 01844. His Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday at 9:00AM in St. Patrick Parish, 118 S. Broadway in Lawrence. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in N. Andover.
The family has requested, in Richard's honor, memorial contributions be made to Central Catholic High School, 300 Hampshire Street, Lawrence, MA 01841.
