Miss Therese Rita Gaouette, of Taunton, died Tuesday, June 24 in Taunton Nursing Home following a period of failing health. She was born 91 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Donat and Eugenie (Mador) Gaouette. She was educated in Taunton and was a lifelong city resident. She enjoyed playing bingo and watching game shows on television. She was a communicant of the former St. Jacques Parish in Taunton.
She leaves: 1 niece: Pauline Banks of Taunton, and several cousins including Thomas Copeland, Jean Arikian, Louise Rose, Raymond Emond and Roger Emond, all of Taunton. Therese was also the sister of the late Irene A. Gaouette of Taunton.
A Funeral Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Friday, June 27, at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Visiting Hour will precede the Service
