Carolyn Ann (Murphy) Hoffman, 75, passed away peacefully Monday evening June 23, 2014 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Louisville to Eugene & Pearl (Pence) Murphy.
Carolyn was a retired Inspector for Enro Shirt Co., and a Homemaker.
She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving Husband of 24 years, Norman W. Hoffman, a Son: Kevin Hoffman, her Parents, 2 Brothers and a Sister.
Survivors include her children: Theresa Smith (David), Kathy Ruark, Valarie Giovenco (Todd), and Keith Hoffman (Jessica); 8 grandchildren: Amanda, Jessica, Caroline, Natalie, Nolan, Samantha, Gabrielle and Maya; 2 great grandchildren; and a Brother: Robert Murphy (Mary)
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be Thursday 2:00 – 8:00 PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.

Carolyn was lovingly known as “Mamaw” to all. She was happiest when surrounded by family & friends. An excellent cook, her Sunday dinners always included an abundant supply of everyone’s favorites. We will deeply miss her warm smile & quick wit.
