Michael J. Kelly, 62, of Edgewood Drive, Harmony, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at the Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the deeply loved husband of Jacqueline C. (Doyle) Kelly.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John A. and Barbara A. (Strickland) Kelly of Harmony. He returned to live in Harmony ten years ago. Mike was an Army veteran. He was an avid sports fan and golfer who loved walking his dog, Miko.
Mike had worked as a systems analyst for Blue Cross and a project leader for TJX before retiring due to illness.
Besides his wife he is survived by his step children: Cheryl Anger of Warren and Christine Reed of Denver, CO, 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; his sisters: Kathleen Gianquitti and her husband, Raymond of Narragansett and Andrea Harnish and her husband, Jeffery of Scituate; his niece, Jennifer Dech her husband, Ronn and their daughter, Abigail of Wakefield.
A Committal service with Military honors will be held Tuesday, July 1 at 11:30AM at the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Please gather at the Administration Building at 11:15. Donations in his memory may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
