Gilford-----Donald G. Theriault, 66, of 26 Sagamore Road, died at the Concord Hospice House on Saturday, June 21, 2014.
Don was born April 11, 1948 in Lowell, Mass., the son of the late Camille and Helene (Bourgault) Theriault.
Don served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was recipient of the Purple Heart. He had been employed at Ricciardeli Sons in Massachusetts. He resided in Dracut, Mass. for several years before moving to Gilford nine years ago.
Don enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-eight years, Lorraine A. (Croteau) Theriault of Gilford; a daughter, Leah Moran, of Dracut, Mass.; two stepsons, Scott MacDonald of Methuen, Mass. and Richard MacDonald of Flower Mound, Texas; four grandsons, Christopher, Joshua, Kevin and Zachary; one niece, Kim Calden, and two nephews, Marc Theriault and Michael Theriault. In addition to his parents, Mr. Theriault was predeceased by a stepson, Dennis MacDonald and by a brother, Maurice Theriault.
There will be no calling hours.
A Graveside Service, with military honors, will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, N.H. on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 1:30PM.
