Mr. A. Kevin Alsup, a resident of Andover, formerly of Lawrence, died suddenly at his home on Thursday, June 19, 2014. He was 63 years old.
Born in Dallas, Texas on December 24, 1950, he was the beloved son of the late Floyd T. and Eileen J. (Keenan) Alsup. Kevin was a very devoted family person and had been his mothers caregiver for several years. He was a real sports fanatic and had collected many sports related memorabilia, especially of the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics. Kevin had served St. Augustine's church as a Eucharistic Minister, for several years. Above all, Kevin loved being with his siblings and nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his loving siblings; Glen J. and his wife Peg Alsup of Newton, New Hampshire, Butch C. and his wife Michelle Alsup of Salem, New Hampshire, Paul Alsup of Delray Beach, Florida and Julie and her husband Kevin Willette of Haverhill. Kevin is also survived by nine nieces and nephews and twelve great-nieces and great-nephews.
His funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine's Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, prior to the service, in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, from 9 to 10 AM. Interment will be held in St. May Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
