NEWMAN, A. Eugene (Gene), Ph.D. of Newton passed away peacefully on, June 20, 2014. Gene was a clinical psychologist with practices in Norwood and Newton. Previously, he served as an Assistant Superintendent of Schools in Foxborough and principal of Catholic Memorial High School. He is survived by wife, Maryellen Cunnion of Newton, daughter Megan Newman and her husband Corey Holman, and his son Timothy Newman, all of Washington, DC.

Funeral mass will be held on Saturday June 28 at 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 9 Glen Road, Wellesley Hills. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
