Peggy Commito, of Plymouth formerly of Reading, died on June 21st at her home at the age of 69. She is survived by her beloved husband Robert Commito of Plymouth and her daughters Laura Newcomb of Braintree and Beth Crooker and her husband Bob of Holbrook. She also leaves her 5 cherished grandchildren Mikayla, Marissa & TJ Newcomb and Holly & Jonathan Crooker. Sister of the late Bernard Madden.
Peggy was born in Washington, DC; daughter of the late Bernard and Rose (DiPalma) Madden. She was a teacher for many years before becoming a daycare provider and running an after school program.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 25th from 4 to 8 PM at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt 3A), Plymouth (Manomet). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 26th at St. Bonaventure’s Church at 11 AM. A private burial will be held at a later date.
