CHIULLI, Luciano D. “Lou”, of Winthrop, formerly of East Boston, June 21, 2014. Beloved husband of Helen M. (Flammia) Chiulli. Loving son of the late Sabatino and Maria (DiGianvitorio) Chiulli. Devoted father of Louis Chiulli and his wife Susan of Saugus, Christine Cavaliere-Ogus and her husband Gerald of Winthrop, and Joann Wright and her husband Kenneth of Feeding Hills, MA. Adored grandfather of Francis and Nicholas Cavaliere and Justin and Lauren Chiulli. Dear brother of Giselda Sampson of Winthrop and the late Anthony and Dominic Chiulli. Cherished Godfather to Mariann Nicoletti of Winthrop. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. WINTHROP, on Weds, June 25, at 9am. A Funeral Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Church-Winthrop, at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will take place in Winthrop Cemetery (Belle Isle Section). Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Tues, June 24 between 4-8pm. He was a past member of the Sons of Italy, a former line dancing instructor for the Winthrop Parks and Recreation Dept. and a former Winthrop Little League Coach.
