Obituary

Charles E. McAdams, of Plymouth formerly of Hingham, died on June 19th at Emeritus Assisted Living at the age of 82. He is survived by his beloved wife Anne (Gaudiano) McAdams of Plymouth, his daughter Lindsey Flynn of CT and his sons Steven of Kingston, Christopher of Marshfield, Darren of E. Bridgewater and Todd of Plymouth. He also leaves his brother George of Duxbury, his sister Carol Hicks of Scituate and his 10 cherished grandchildren.
Charles was born in Quincy, son of the late Leo and Gertrude (Haggerty) McAdams. He worked for the telephone company for 35 years; working his way up from lineman to manager. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 23rd at 10 AM at St. Bonaventure’s Church in Plymouth followed by burial at Vine Hills Cemetery. There are no visiting hours. Arrangements made by the Richard Davis Funeral Homes of Plymouth and Manomet. In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations in his memory be made to the American Cancer Society, 5 Manley St, W. Bridgewater, MA 02379.
