Amy L. Rooney 39, of North Grafton, and formerly of Framingham, died Wednesday June 18, 2014 after a brief illness, at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of Marguerite (O’Keefe) Rooney of North Grafton and John Rooney and his wife Jeri of Las Vegas, NV.
Amy was kind, thoughtful, and loving. She cared deeply about her family and friends. She had a special bond with her four nephews and loved to spoil them at every opportunity. Amy’s life would seem too short to many, but to those who were touched by her understood that the quality of life far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Amy lived life to its fullest.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one sister Paula Bradley and her husband Brian of South Kingstown, RI; two brothers Steven Rooney and his wife Shannon of Northborough; Peter Rooney and his wife Cara of Warwick, RI; her grandfather John W. Rooney of Dennis Port, MA; four nephews, Landon, Talan, Dalton and Jack, and her boyfriend Michael Betancourt of Ashland, MA.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday, June 22 at the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common from 4:00 P.M. to 6:45 P.M. followed by a Prayer Service at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
