Mary L. Frisella, 93, passed away on June 19th in Danvers, MA. Mary was born May 1st, 1921 in Bathurst N.B to Francis McArdle and Beatrice (McInnis). She spent her childhood in Bathurst and enjoyed telling stories to her family of her childhood memories which was the source of much laughter. As a young adult she moved to Boston and worked in her aunts nursing home in Plymouth, MA. Mary later, met her husband, Edward in Boston, while working together at the Parker House Hotel. They settled in Candia, NH, where they raised their family of eight childen. In later years, Ed's career took them to Idaho Falls, and Salem, Oregon. Mary enjoyed current events, sports (especially the Red Sox), gardening, knitting, sewing, baking, and most importantly, spending time with her family. In their retirement, Mary and Ed travelled the US - coast to coast visiting family. Mary was characterized and will be remembered by her sweet disposition and a remarkably quick wit.
She is survived by her children, Edward of Somersworth, NH, Philip and (Lisa) of Dunedin, FLA, Daniel of Post Falls, ID, Martha Wagner of Buckeye, AZ, Beatrice of Monmouth, OR, Mary Ann Crumley of Cottage Grove, OR Peter and (Frances) of Peabody, MA , Andrew of North Andover, MA, ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her siblings, Jimmy (died at birth), James, Charles, Harold, Donald (Duddie), Temple, Teresa, Kathleen, Eva and Ralph.
Calling hours will be Monday from 10 AM to 11 AM at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St., Manchester, NH. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 11:30 AM in St. Joseph Cathedral, Pine St., Manchester, NH. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, NH.
