TEWKSBURY: Lance Corporal, Andrew J. Kraynick, age 21, a lifelong Tewksbury resident, passed away in Princeton, West Virginia on Saturday, June 14, 2014.
Born in Lowell on April 10, 1993, he is the beloved son of Elizabeth A. Kraynick of Tewksbury.
Andrew attended Tewksbury schools and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School in 2011.
Following high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and was currently stationed at Marine Corps Base-Camp Lejeune in North Carolina awaiting deployment .
Andrew enjoyed bodybuilding, wrestling, martial arts, daily workouts at the gym with his friends from Tewksbury, paintball, fishing, playing video games, and watching movies.
In addition to his mother, survivors include two brothers, Eric A. Munnis, Jr. and his fiance Jessica Pitocchelli of Lowell and Derek E. Munnis and his wife Barbara of Londonderry, NH; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy H. Kraynick of Tewksbury; two uncles, Stephen L. Kraynick and his wife Nancy of Lompoc, CA and George Barlow and his wife Janice of Salem, NH; his longtime girlfriend, Jillian LaBonte of Tewksbury; his nephew and nieces, Riley, Jessica, Chloe, Madeline and Victoria; also many cousins and friends.
Andrew was the maternal grandson of the late Russell W. Kraynick.
Relatives and friends are invited to his calling hours on Sunday, June 22, from 2-6 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. At the request of the family, Funeral Services will be held Privately. Interment will be at Tewksbury Cemetery.
