David Harper, 59, of Osierfield, Georgia, died Monday, June 16, 2014, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton.
Funeral Services will be held 2 PM, Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at The Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald with Minister Mike Moore, Rev. Rex Johnson and Sammy Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Osierfield Cemetery.
Mr. Harper was born January 21, 1955, in Ocilla, to the late Meeks and Della Mae Carver Harper. He was a farmer and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Sarah Fussell Harper of Osierfield; five sisters, June H. Phillips of Atlanta, Glenda H. Buchek of Atlanta, Joyce H. Burley of Fitzgerald, Gail Harper of Fitzgerald and Delphine H. Delaneuville of Fitzgerald; two brothers, Aubrey Harper of Fitzgerald and Michael Harper of Knoxville, TN. Many nieces and nephews also survive. His parents and one brother, Albert Harper, preceded him in death.
