SPENCER: Daniel M. Faulkner, III, 73 of Woodland Lane, died Friday, June 13 at his home.
He leaves his wife of 14 years, Gloria G. (Gatto) Faulkner, his children; Mark Faulkner of Oxford, Michael Faulkner of Worcester, Sheryl Mosso of NH, Erica Faulkner of NH and D.Monty Faulkner IV of Georgia, 7 step children Marie Sweares, Donna Gosslin, Robert Heath, Cindy LaBlair, Jim Turner, Richard Clapham, Jr. and Darlene Hines, 28 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Glen Faulkner and his wife Ann of Sterling and Bruce Faulkner of Worcester, a nephew and a niece.
Born in Southbridge, he was the son of Daniel M. and Ruth (Hawkins) Faulkner, Jr., and later attended Worcester Vocational Trade School. The family would like to acknowledge the caring staff at Guardian Hospice of Sturbridge for their exceptional care given to Dan at his home.
Dan was the owner of Faulkner Tree Service and Faulkner Scrap for more than 45 years, retiring in 2000. He was a longtime member of the Millbury Lions Club. He loved camping, fishing, horseshoes, dancing and Car Races.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 19 at 10a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 18 from 4 to 7p.m. in the funeral home.
