Obituary

Rene A. Rheault, 92, of Manchester died June 14, 2014 at Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a brief illness.
Born in Manchester, NH on September 20, 1921 he was the son of Almeda and Ida (Guevin). He was educated in the local school system and was a veteran of the US Army, serving during WWII.
Prior to retirement, Rene had been employed as a finisher in the dye room at the Wambec Mills for over 30 years. He also worked as a maintenance engineer at Colonial Village for 10 years.
Rene was a member of VFW Post 8214 Queen City Memorial, Jutras Post American Legion and the Last Mans Club (WWII Club). In 1953 he won the title of City Bowling Champ of Manchester.
He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Theresa C. (Belcourt) Rheault.
Family members include his two daughters, Janet Doyon and husband Michel of Manchester, and Claudette Adams of Manchester; two sons, Joseph Rheault and wife Donna of Manchester, and Paul Rheault and wife Chandra of Deerfield; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Belcourt, Nathan Adams, Shannon Rheault, Megan Bohman, Marissa Doyon and Cari LeBlond; nine great grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.
The funeral service, with military honors, was held on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, Manchester.
