David Gordon Thomas, 69, went home to his Lord Wednesday June 11, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Hodgenville, KY to Marvin E. & Pearl (Allen) Thomas.
David was the retired Meat Manager for the Taylor Blvd Pic-Pac market, with 28 years service.
He was a member of Garrs Lane United Methodist Church and was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, a Brother, Dwayne, and a Granddaughter: Michelle Peterson.
Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years Barbara A. (Crutcher) Thomas; his Sons: Barry, Terry (Jill) and Jeff Thomas;
8 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren; 3 Brothers: Melvin (Irene), John (Sue) and Ernie Thomas; several Nieces & Nephews & extended family.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Glendale Christian Church Cemetery,
Glendale, KY.
Visitation will be Friday 2:00 – 8:00 PM
