Mr. Alexander M. Marotta, age 94, of Medford formerly of East Boston, passed away November 10th, following a lengthy illness. Born in Boston he was the son of the late Rosalia (Salvaggio) and Damiano Marotta.
Mr. Marotta, known as “Mike” to his friends and family. He worked for many years in the garment industry in Boston. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of your choice.
Mike is survived by his sisters, Gilda Marotta of Medford and Rose Falzone and her husband John of Toms River, NJ. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his sister Phyllis and brothers Louis, Charles and Salvatore Marotta.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford, Monday at 10 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebarted in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St. Medford at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
