TAUNTON – Theresa (Morris) Tatro, wife of the late Charles A. Tatro, Sr., died at the Taunton Nursing Home on June 9, 2014.
She was 85.
Born in North Dighton, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Morris) Morris.
Mrs. Tatro was raised in North Dighton and attended Dighton schools.
Employed by Texas Instruments for many years, she retired in 1987.
In her spare time, Theresa enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, sewing and shopping.
She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include a son, Charles A. Tatro, Jr. and his fiancé Gail Teehan of Novato, CA; a daughter, Joanne LoPilato and her husband Roy of Taunton; three sisters, Florence Texeira of Norton, Hilda Amaral of Taunton, and Ginger Booth of Santa Rosa, CA; two grandchildren, Keri A. and Nicholas LoPilato, both of Taunton; a godchild, Elizabeth Woodward of East Taunton; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Manuel and Ralph Morris, Delores McDermot, Irene Hollis and Mary Moitoza.
Funeral services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Saturday June 14th at 10 a.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
The family will be receiving visitors from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the services.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
