Jerald Leish
Our beloved father, Jerald Leish, 84, of Oxnard, California, passed away on Tuesday June 10, 2014.
He was born on September 28, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was in the Army and stationed at White Sands, N.M. after receiving his Engineering degree at Johns Hopkins in Maryland. He was proud of being in the Army and serving his country.
He worked at Point Mugu Air Force Base as an Electronics Engineer from 1955--1981. He was active at Temple Beth Torah, Ventura for over 50 years of membership. He was also proud of being the volunteer treasurer for the Ventura County United Jewish Appeal for several years.
Family was very important to him; he was a loving father and grandfather. He was married to our beloved mom, Jo Leish, who preceded him in death. His brother, Donald, preceded him in death. He is survived by his three children, Brian, Alan, and Carol, his step daughter, Cindy, his grandchildren, Joshua, Eliana, Jason, and Daniel. He is survived by his sisters, Irma Fink of Silver Springs, Maryland, and Gloria McGrane of Perry Hall, Maryland, and many nieces, and nephews of Maryland.
