Obituary

Judith A. (Bridge) Limoges, 71, passed away Saturday, May 24th, 2014, at the Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on Dec. 15th, 1942 in Providence, to the late Bradford and Mildred (Chisholm) Bridge, of N. Smithfield. Judith traveled as a “military brat” throughout the U.S., Panama, and Guam. She graduated from N. Smithfield High School in 1960. Judith fulfilled many roles in her lifetime from the secretary at Plant’s Auto Body, to co-owning and managing Perfect Pizza in Woonsocket with her late husband Michael Limoges. The highlight of her life was being a foster mother and grandmother. Judith cherished spending time with her family. She also enjoyed football, reading, and dancing. Judith was a strong, selfless, courageous, and diverse woman. She was loving, and loved by many. To those who knew and loved her well she was known as “Grammy”.

She is survived by five daughters, Kim and Fred Pelletier of Bellingham; Kassia and Glen Clough of N. Smithfield; Kelly Karaniuk of AZ; Kendra Limoges of Bellingham; and Amanda Hitchner of Pawtucket; fourteen grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Jessica, Crystal, Joshua, Kara, Ryan, Nikki, Ashley, AJ, Joell, Desire, Tyreke, and Kaleb; eight great-grandchildren, Michael, Joshua Jr., Kache Jr., Dominic, Therese, Kira, Damian, and Jasiah; and a brother, Bradford Bridge Jr. and his wife Joanne of Burrillville. She was also the mother of the late Robert Pelletier Jr.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the nurses and CNAs at Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center for the exceptional care they provided.

Her committal service will be held Friday, June 13, at 10:00AM in Union Cemetery, North Smithfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to:
