Frances R. (Sauer) Kyne, age 87, of South Walpole for 56 years, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2014. She was the wife of the late James M. Kyne, Sr.
She was born in Boston, February 14, 1927, the daughter of the late Jacob F. and Mary A. (Walsh) Sauer.
“Fran” had been an active member of the Walpole Senior Center and was a former member of the Walpole Council on Aging.
She was the devoted mother of Stephen J. Kyne and his wife Alison of Shrewsbury, James M. Kyne, Jr. and his wife Supalak of Vacaville, California and Mary F. Broderick and her husband Mark of Plymouth.
She is also survived by her beloved brother James Sauer of Dedham and was the loving sister of the late Margaret McWalters and Mary MacNeil.
She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Michael Kyne of Virginia, Heather Costello of Massachusetts, Michelle Welch of Massachusetts, James M. Kyne III of California, Leslie Anne Kyne of California, Jacob Broderick of Washington DC, and Melisa Broderick of Massachusetts.
She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Hayden and Dylan Kyne of California, Kennedy Welch of Massachusetts and beloved by many cousins, nephews, nieces and friends.
Her memorial mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 18 in St. Mary’s Church East Walpole at 10:00 a.m.
Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:30 PM.
