Maria Mulone, age 80, passed away November 11th at the Mt Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, following a brief illness. Born in Italy she was the daughter of the late Marianna (Castelano) and Guiseppe DiVinci. She was the beloved wife of the late Pietro Mulone.
Maria was a Somerville resident for close to 45 years. She was a devoted mother and homemaker.
In addition to her late husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter Nina Golisano. She is survived by her son Carmelo Mulone of Somerville, and daughters, Madeline D´Anna of Somerville, Maria Bordonaro and Jean Bordonaro both of Malden. She is also survived by seventeen loving grandchildren and fourteen loving great grandchildren.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday at 9 AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St. Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 thru 9. Services will conclude with entombment at the Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, Malden.
