WEST PARIS, ME - Claire E. (LaFlamme) Rivest, 92, of West Paris, ME and a former longtime resident of South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, June 5, 2014. She passed into Eternal Life at Ledgeview Living Center in West Paris, Maine. She was born in Holyoke on March 18, 1922, a beloved daughter of the late Frederick W. and Marie E. (Champigny) LaFlamme. She was last employed as a branch manager at the former Holyoke Savings Bank. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Paul Rivest who was Called Home in October of 1979. She leaves her cherished nephews and niece, F. Craig Colman and his wife, Pam, of South Paris, ME, Wayne C. Colman and his wife, Linda, of Troy, OH, and Cynthia Price of Rochester, NY. Besides her parents and her husband, she was also predeceased by her loving sister, Cecile Colman who was Called Home on February 11, 2013. A Graveside Service and Burial will be held on Monday morning, June 9, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Notre Dame Cemetery, 63 Lyman Street, South Hadley, MA 01075.
