Jeff Gray, 42, of Abbeville, died Friday, June 6, 2014, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 4 PM, Monday, June 9, 2014, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Ronny Griner officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Sunday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Gray was born July 18, 1971 in Tift County to Betty Sue Arthur Gray and the late William Henry Gray. He was a 1990 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. Jeff was a machine technician for Shaw Industries in Fitzgerald. He loved animals and enjoyed spending time with his dogs and raising his chickens. He loved to fish and hunt but was a hard worker who devoted most of his time to his job.
He is survived by his mother: Betty Gray of Fitzgerald; brothers and sisters: Mark Gray of Fitzgerald, Sonja & Brian Wilkerson of Poulan, Michelle Grimsley of Fitzgerald, Michael Gray of Athens, and Kevin Gray of Fitzgerald. He was preceded in death by his father.
