RAYNHAM – Alvena M. (Allen) Westgate, wife of the late Rollis L. Westgate, died at her Raynham home on June 6, 2014.
She was 98.
Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Marion A. (Westgate) Allen.
She was a lifelong resident of the Taunton area.
Employed many years ago by General Electric, she later worked for the former Hercules/Havoc/Haskon for over thirty-three years.
She retired many years ago.
Survivors include her son, Mervyn R. Westgate of Taunton; her granddaughter, Michelle Jackson of Taunton; two great grandchildren, Leanne and Joshua Jackson, both of Taunton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Wednesday, June 11th at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow at King Cemetery in East Taunton.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 10th from 5 to 8 p.m.
