Preston Fee, 83, of Chester, NH passed away peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 20, 1931 in Hazard, KY, a son of the late Finley Fee and Dora (Napier) Lancaster. After enlisting in the Air Force during the Korean War, he spent 8 years performing his military duties and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. He settled in Newton, NH to raise his family and worked for Western Electric and AT&T for 30 years. He was a member of the Fish and game Club in Newton and enjoyed pursuing his love of hunting and fishing. After retirement, he took his wife on a dream vacation to Alaska.
He is survived by his wife, Fayella A. (Beaudette) Fee of Chester, his two daughters, Theresa Yau of Methuen, MA and Catherine Ramsden and her husband Brian of Penacook, NH; his two sons, Darrell Fee of Nashua, NH and Stephen Fee and his wife Nina of Stratham, NH; his beloved grandchildren, Eva Ringuette and her husband Stephen, James Yau, Philip Ramsden, Amber Ramsden, Claire Fee, Alex Fee and Olena Fee; one sister, Viola Napier of Bowling Green, KY, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were held on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 from 9:00 - 11:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A brief prayer service will began at 10:45am in the funeral home. Graveside services followed at 1:00pm in the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster HWY, Boscawen, NH.
