Sandra D. Leroux, 79 of Derry, NH died Thursday June 5, 2014 at the Parkland Medical Center, Derry. Mrs. Leroux was born in Berlin, NH on January 3, 1935, a daughter of the late Fred and Madeline (Dion) Mason. She had been a resident of Derry for the past 47 years. She was an expert seamstress, and enjoyed quilting and knitting. She was a loving mother and grandmother and looked forward to time spent on Sebago Lake in Maine with her family.
She is survived by her children, Donald Leroux and his wife Janet, and Cynthia Rohm and her husband Dean, five grandchildren, Danielle and Melissa Leroux, and Zachary, Alexander and Suzanne Rohm, one brother, Richard Mason, four sisters, Jacquelyn Morton, Avril Mason, Ruth Markell, and Roberta Mason, also several nieces, nephews and friends. . She was recently predeceased by her husband, Richard A. Leroux on March 22, 2014, by her daughter, Diane B. Leroux in 1978, and by her sisters, Barbara Tarby and Carolyn Nolan.
Calling hours were held on Sunday June 8, 2014 from 6 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Liturgy of Christian Burial was be celebrated on Monday at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. Burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sandra’s memory to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
