Jerry Allen Rowe peacefully died on June 6, 2014. Jerry was born in Moultrie to the late Grace and Cramer Rowe. He graduated from Fitzgerald High in 1961. He played baseball at Fitzgerald High and continued this sport at South Georgia College until an injury stopped him.
Jerry worked as a tool and die maker at various places during his career. He also worked at State Farm Insurance.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Knight Rowe, his son Glenn Allen Rowe, his daughter-in-law Tiffany, and grandson Morgan Allen Rowe. He is also survived by a sister Karen Clark and her husband James C. Clark, a brother Ronald Rowe and his wife Kay, a sister-in-law Sylvia Knight Dennen and her husband Mike, and sister-in-law Sharon Knight Lawler and her husband Ronald.
A memorial service will be held at Harvey Funeral Chapel Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Terrell County Humane Society, P.O. Box 311, Dawson, GA 39842 or to a charity of your choice in Jerry's memory.
