Loebig, Lucille “Luci” (McGirk), 87, passed away June 5, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Lou McGirk , and her husband, John “Jack” Loebig; and siblings, John “Buddy” McGirk and Jean Meredith.
Lucy is survived by her children, Patty Plomchok and W. Michael Hayes (Jan); grandchildren, Stephen Michael Plomchok (Leigh), Sheli Phebus,Darren Hayes (Corrie) and Grant Hayes; great-grandchildren, Stephen Michael Plomchok, Jack Plomchok, Drew Hayden Phebus, and Emma Collins Hayes; sister-in-law, Betty McGirk; and close friends, Jean Kessinger, Marsha Kirven, and Louise Rigdon.
Funeral services for Lucy will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Friday and Saturday from 12 noon until time of service. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation.
