TEWKSBURY - Alberta V. (Quinzani) Vreeland, age 76, died peacefully Thursday morning, June 5, at the Blairehouse of Tewksbury, after a long period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of William D. Vreeland, with whom she had celebrated a 55th wedding anniversary this past October 19th.
She was born in Arlington, a daughter of the late Ovido and Emila (Scarpetti) Quinzani, and was raised in Arlington.
In her early years, she worked as a data entry operator for the John Hancock Insurance company in Boston.
She and her husband lived most of their lives in Tewksbury, where she was a communicant of St. William’s Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Florence Ormond of Billerica, and Lena Ormond of Trumbull, Connecticut; and eighteen nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service was held Saturday, June 7, in the funeral home followed by burial at Tewksbury Cemetery.
