In Taunton, June 1, 2014, Mary E. (Cassidy) Alves, Age 79, passed away in Morton Hospital following a lengthy illness. Mary is survived by her loving husband John Alves of Taunton. Mary was born in Scranton, PA, and has resided in Taunton for over thirty years. She was a member of Christ Community Church in East Taunton. Mary enjoyed her coffee every morning at Dunkin Donuts on Washington St. with her husband and friends. A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced when finalized. Arrangements are under the direction of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
