Mrs. Betty E. Rogers, age 82, of Manchester, NH formerly of Derry, NH and Wilmington, MA, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on May 31st following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late John Rogers. Born in Claysburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Emma (Seymour) Feathers.
Betty worked for many years as a housekeeper at the New England Memorial Hospital in Stoneham prior to her retirement. She loved animals, especially dogs and cats and would take in strays and adopt many pets over the years from animal rescue shelters. She also enjoyed listening to country music and being outdoors with views of the mountains. Her greatest joy was her family and she was most happy when she was surrounded by those she loved.
Betty is survived by her devoted daughter, Linda Wilkins and her husband Keith of Derry, NH. She was the loving grandmother of Beth Coudriet, Brian Adams, Lance Wilkins and Hayley Wilkins. She was the loving great grandmother to Logan Coudriet, Alisha Coudriet and Tabitha Syas. Sister of James Feathers of York, PA, the late Maxine Beech and Charles Feathers.
A funeral service will be conducted in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 374 Main St., Wilmington on Thursday, June 5th, at 11 a.m. relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
