Lucy N. (Pace) DeSilva a lifelong Ossining resident died on June 2, 2014 at Cedar Manor Nursing Home. She was 92. Mrs. DeSilva worked as a seamstress for the former Stuart Dress Co. in Ossining. Lucy was born March 26, 1922 in Ossining, NY to Frank and Mary Juliano Pace. She was educated in the Ossining Public Schools. On June 28, 1948 she married Adam P. DeSilva at St. Ann’s Church. He died in 1988. Lucy was a parishioner of St. Ann’s Church Sodality, Senior Citizens and the Golden Agers Club of Ossining. She is survived by her daughter Mary Ann DeSilva-Johnson of Croton on Hudson, son David P. DeSilva of Hopewell Junction, five grandchildren Kevin, Jennifer, Michelle, Nicholas and Lisa, seven great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Family members who died earlier, besides her husband are two brothers and four sisters. Graveside services St. Augustine Cemetery, Ossining on Thursday, June 5th at 10:30 am.
