Patricia M. "MeMe" (Napier) Goulart, 67, of Dartmouth died Saturday May 31, 2014 unexpectedly at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of Jeritt W. Goulart.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Charles and Doris M. (Eastwood) Napier, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life before moving to Dartmouth 16 years ago.
Mrs. Goulart was formerly employed as a waitress at various local restaurants until her retirement.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; two children, Melissa M. Nunes and her husband Joseph of Dartmouth and Kevin R. Amaral and his wife Lucy of New Bedford; her stepdaughter, Torey Steele and her husband Robert of Dartmouth; two brothers, Charles W. Napier of East Freetown and David A. Napier of New Bedford; four grandchildren, Jonathan and Jordan Nunes, and Justin and Ashley Amaral; and nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Peter E. Napier.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 9 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Thursday from 4-8 PM. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saunderdwyer.com.
