Obituary

Carol A. (Nimblett) LeBel, 66 of Peabody, died Saturday, May 31, 2014, with her family by her side, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Raymond G. LeBel

Born and raised in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late, James J. and Marion A. (Brown) Nimblett. Carol began working for EG&G in Salem 38 years ago and retired from Excelitas Technologies of Salem this past April.

An athletic woman in her younger years, Carol played soft ball and bowled for several leagues. She was an avid dart fan and played for the Minuteman Dart League and she also enjoyed golf.

She is survived by her son, John A. Ditty and his wife Lisa A. of Peabody, two grandsons, Nolan R. Ditty, Zachary J. Cupo, three sisters, Barbara McMahon of Amesbury, Virginia Castonguay of Peabody, Marjorie Scott of Florida & Massachusetts, and a brother, Tony Nimblett. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph W. Ditty, Jr., sisters, Shirley Porter & Edith Beaulieu and brother Thomas Nimblett.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visiting hours on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. in the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [Rt. 114 / 1-A] Salem. A graveside committal service will be held in Greenlawn Cemetery on Friday at 11:00 A.M.
