William E. “Bill” Knight, 84, passed away Friday May 30, 2014 at Rockford Health & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Russellville, KY to Herman Z. & “Ellie” (Odell) Knight.
Bill was retired from General Electric with over 25 years service, a Korean War Army Veteran, and a member of Ralph Ave Baptist Church.
Bill was preceded in death by his Loving wife of 54 years, Mildred B. (Brown) Knight; his Parents and 5 siblings.
Survivors include his Daughter: Deborah K. “Debbie” Adams; 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren; 2 Step Sons: Larry Hardin and Joallen Hardin (Linda);
A Brother: Robert “Bob” Knight and a Sister: Carmen Wooden.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday
