GOOGE - Melody Y. Googe, 47, of Yulee passed away Friday evening, May 30, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center in Fernandina Beach.
She was born February 7, 1967 in Butler, AL and moved to the Yulee area in 1985. She graduated from Fernandina Beach High School in 1986.
Mrs. Googe was a devoted wife and mother. She appreciated music and Native American art.
She was predeceased by her step father, Wayne Mayes who passed away in 2009.
Survivors include her devoted husband of 21 years, James H. Googe; a daughter, Taylor L. Googe; son Keith H. Googe, all of Yulee, FL; her mother, Sandra E. Mayes; father, Charles Bedwell; two brothers, Charles R. Bedwell and Joshua M. Grantham; her grandmother, Geneva C. Mayes; several nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 2, in the Stephens Chapel at Green Pine Funeral Home with Rev. Pete Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral Home.
