Vincenzo E. Donato “Enzo” of Canton and Clearwater Florida died peacefully May 29, 2014 after a long illness. He was 72 years old.
Raised in Tunisia he came to America in 1958. Before retirement he worked as a classically trained Executive Chef, he prepared meals for many famous and notable persons over his career. He was a charismatic individual who spoke five languages fluently. He will be remembered for his love to entertain with his cooking, a true “rockstar chef” before the term even existed.
Former husband of Agatha I. “Ida” Vetrano. Loving father of Antoinette Haas and her husband Stephen, Antonino Donato and his wife Melisa all of Canton. Brother of Mary Sala of N.C. and the late Catherine Morello and Clara LoPiccolo. Proud grandfather of Deanna Haas, Derek Haas, Rocco Donato and Maksim Donato.
Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton Sunday June 1, 2014 from 3-6 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Funeral services will be private.
