Deolinda Dupere, 70

Dateline: Fall River, MA

Deolinda (Pacheco) Dupere, age 70, of Fall River and Westport passed away surrounded by her adoring family on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River. She was the beloved wife of the late Russell Dupere.
Born in New Bedford, MA on March 14, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Constance (Joquiem) Teixeira and Manuel Pacheco. She grew up and was educated in New Bedford.
Mrs. Dupere was a private Certified Nursing Assistant and had formerly worked with young adults at Crystal Springs in Assonet.
Above all, family was the essence of Deolinda’s life. For fun, she enjoyed playing cards, bingo, cooking , and especially trips to the casino’s.
She is survived by her devoted children; Steven R. Dupere, David A. Dupere and Tara M. Bartlett all of Fall River. She was the dear sister of August Louis of North Kingstown, Rhode Island and the late Anthony “Tiny” Pacheco. She is also survived by her cherished granddaughters; Alisha Dupere and Ashly Pereira, and her great grandson Mason Soares.
Her funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Friday, June 6th at 11:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton. Burial will follow in the Timothy Plain Cemetery, Norton.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, June 5th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home.
