David B. Johnson, 58

David B. Johnson, age 58, of Elkton, Maryland, formerly of Norton passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2014 at the Bayside Community Center in Elkton.
Born in Attleboro, MA on October 24, 1955, he was a loving son of the late Mason W. and Barbara (Rawlinson) Johnson.
David grew up in Norton. He was educated in Norton and North Attleboro schools and was a graduate of North Attleboro High School. He had also attended the John T. Berry Rehabilitation Center in North Reading.
David had worked as an assembler for the Bayside Community Network in Maryland and had formerly been employed for the greater Attleboro area ARC.
He had made his home in Elkton for over 15 years and had previously resided in Norton; where he was a former member of the Norton Grange.
David was an avid fan of the Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles. He enjoyed watching television westerns, fishing, boating, woodworking projects with his brother, and spending time with family and friends.
He was the devoted brother of Mason “Doug” Johnson and his wife Dianne of Cedar Bluff, Alabama and Laurie A. (Johnson) Greene of Bridgewater. He was the loving uncle of Kimberly Greige of Easton, Jeremy Johnson and his wife Carly of Centre, Alabama, Joshua Johnson and his wife Jill of Centre, Alabama and Keri Mullett and her husband Michael of Bridgewater. He was the great uncle of Jonathan Greige and Sarah Greige. He was the dear nephew of Ruth and Herbert Church of Norton and is also survived by several cousins.
His funeral service, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Saturday, June 7th at 10:00 A.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton. Burial will follow in Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls, Rhode Island.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 6th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home.
