John A. Danieli of Somerville died Wednesday, May 28th in the Mt. Auburn Hospital, Cambridge. A lifelong resident of Somerville, he was the son of the late Lorenzo and Antonetta (Conti) Danieli.
John was the beloved husband of Carolina (Picardo) and devoted father of Lawrence Danieli, Antonetta Bither and her husband Scott, all of Somerville, Grace Maidrand and her husband John of Burlington, Josephine Baxter and her husband Michael, John Danieli and his wife Marie, all of Somerville. He was the loving grandfather of Toni-Ann, Scott, Danielle, Lauren, Michael G., Daniel, John Joseph, Carolyn, Rebecca, and the loving great grandfather of Abigail, Emily, and Valerie. John was the brother of Domenic Danieli and his wife Florence of Wilmington, brother-in-law of Maria Nasta and her husband Antonio of Medford. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, June 3rd at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Monday from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
