Worcester- Wladyslawa “Lottie” (Cieciura) Wrobel, 94, of 39 Seymour St., passed away peacefully Tuesday, Nov. 9, in her home.
Her husband, Frank Wrobel died in 1992. She was born June 10, 1910 in Staten Island, NY, daughter of Jozef and Marianna (Zimolong) Cieciura. For 26 years, she and her husband owned a large farm in Poland. In 1965, she returned to the United States on the ship Stefan Batory.
She leaves two sons, Simon S. Wrobel and wife Nina of Millbury, and Andrew J. Wrobel and wife Christina of Holden; five grandchildren, Margaret, Julia, Diana, Andrew, and Christopher. Her brothers, Wincenty, Ignacy, and Stanislaw Cieciura, all died in Poland.
Mrs. Wrobel was a cook at Clark University for Daka Co., before retiring.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She loved gardening, and enjoyed cooking and sewing.
She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish.
The funeral will be held Friday, Nov. 12, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, in the funeral home.
