John P. Guarini 62, of North Andover, passed away suddenly May 27th 2014 at his home. John was born in Lawrence, MA and was the son of Claire Creeley Guarini and the late Philip Guarini. John was a graduate of Austin Preparatory School and North Shore Community College for Culinary Arts. John worked at Andrew Wilson Metal Co., Smith and Nephew DYONICS, and most recently the Boston Globe. John is survived by his wife Kathy (Barnes) Guarini, daughter Laurie and her fiancé Michael Curran, his twin grandchildren Jacob Walter and Owen Patrick, his brother Charles and his wife Ann, his mother-in-law Rose Barnes, brother-in-law Thomas Barnes and his wife Carolyn, brother-in-law Johnny Barnes and girlfriend Sue Collins, sister-in-law Barbara Jesionowski and husband Bill, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and an abundance of friends, especially his best friend Jack Haynes. John was proceeded by son Thomas Redmond. Johns spirited personality will be remembered by all who knew and loved him. John had a joke for everything and made everyone around him laugh. Johns passion of cooking, The Boston Bruins, and The Beatles brought him great joy.

His funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 30th, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 196 Main Street, North Andover, Massachusetts. Burial will be private and will be held at a later date.
