Derenzo III of Shreveport, LA; Paula Jayne Zurcher and her husband Robert of Elgin, SC; Jay J. Derenzo and his wife Elizabeth of Walpole, and the late Dawna A. Derenzo. Grandmother of Dawna, Jerome IV, Jonathan, Ryan, Taylor, Danielle, Daniella, Michael, Nicholas, Paige, Tyler, and Gregory. Sister of Mary Winters of Arlington.
Evelyn was a kind and caring mother, grandmother, and sister. Her love and compassion were felt by all who surrounded her. She was a philanthropist to St. Joseph Church, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital and many other charities. Graduate of Burdette College, volunteer at Perkins Institute for the Blind and Carroll Center for the Blind.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 1305 Highland Ave, Needham, Saturday at 9:30AM. Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, Needham at 10AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Friday from 2-5PM and Saturday morning prior to Mass from 8:30-9:30AM. Entombment in St. Mary Cemetery, Needham.
