Obituary


GILMANTON – Thomas A. “Mun-C” Munsey, 61, of 197 NH RT 140, died suddenly on Sunday, May 25, 2014.

He was born on March 21, 1953 in Springfield, Vermont, the son of Maurice and Gloria (Roberts) Munsey. Tom worked as a mechanic for Gilbert Block, Lakes Region Disposal, Mooney Corp and E.W.Sleeper and also for a number of years as a Mechanic for the Town of Belmont Highway Department. He most recently worked as a Fabricator for Nutter Construction. He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed camping and NASCAR. In earlier years, Tom raced stock cars at Bryar Motorsport Park, now New Hampshire Motor Speedway, in Loudon. He was well respected and had a large number of friends.

In addition to his parents of Gilmanton, he is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jean (Douphinett) Munsey of Gilmanton, one daughter, Megin Munsey of Watertown, Mass and one son, TJ Munsey of Gilford. He is also survived by one sister and one brother.

Memorial calling hours will be held from 12 Noon to 2PM on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.

Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
