Obituary

Philip Francis Foley, 83, of Derry, NH, husband of Joan M. (Walsh) Foley, passed away on Sunday, May 25th, 2014 at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH.
Born in Methuen, MA, he was a son the late Francis X. and Elaine (Cote) Foley. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Foley was retired from Lockheed. He was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Auburn, NH. Philip was an avid gardener and woodworker.
In addition to his wife Joan, he is survived by two daughters, Phyllis McCaugherty and her husband John, Judith O’Neil and her husband Thomas; three sons, Tim Foley, Mike Foley and his wife Christine and Dan Foley and his wife Dyana. Also surviving are eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Tom Foley.
Following cremation, a liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 10:00am at St Peter’s Catholic Church, 567 Manchester Road, Auburn. Burial will be held at 1:30pm in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawaen, NH. Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry is in charge of arrangements.
