Marjorie Ann "Marge" Shinault-Helms, 75, of Derry, NH, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 26, 2014, in the Parkland Medical Center, Derry. She was born on December 13, 1938 in Derry, NH, daughter of the late John and Marjorie “Tay” (Hall) Hull, and had been a lifelong Derry resident. Marjorie was a graduate of Pinkerton Academy, Derry, Class of 1956. She was a member of the Londonderry Baptist Church. She enjoyed summering in Alton Bay. Marjorie always put her family first and had many friends.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Helms of Derry, her sister, Eleanor Kimball of Derry, one daughter, Laurie J. Waite and her husband John of Derry, four sons, Alan Shinault and his wife Leslie of Florida, Steven Shinault and his wife Sheryl of Derry, Kevin Shinault and his wife Melissa of Derry, and Jonathan Shinault and his wife Antonette of Georgia; her son-in-law, Scott Fischer of Derry; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one nephew, Jeff Kimball and his wife Wanda of Manchester. She was predeceased by her first husband, Albert Shinault in 1985 and her daughter, Jennifer Lynne Fischer in 2012.
Calling hours were held on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 6 – 8 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial followed in the Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry.
