Dear step father of Donald William Thayer III of Guam, Allison Utley of TX and Natalie Dwineell of TX. Loving grandfather of 7 and great grandfather of 3. Son of the late Cecil D. and Vesta (Allen) Hinds.
Richard was born in Drumright, OK. He moved from Springfield to Marshfield in 1989. Richard served in the US Air Force during WWII. He received the Distinguished Flying Cross. Richard worked as a Petroleum Engineer for Core Labs.
A Memorial Mass will be held in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal St. in Marshfield on Friday, May 30 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held in MA National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date.
