Barbara Anne LaCombe (Tierney) lifelong resident of Norton passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the Taunton Nursing Home. She was 79 years old. She was born in Norton daughter of the late Eugene and Irene (Marvel) Tierney. She was the loving wife of John G. LaCombe and the beloved mother of John G. LaCombe Jr. of Rehoboth, Stephen F. LaCombe of Norton, Luanne Gibbs of Taunton, Kathleen M. LaCombe of Norton, and Elizabeth E. Miller of Wrentham. She was the devoted sister of Sheila Klausky of Maine and the late James Tierney. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
Barbara was a graduate of Norton High School. She worked for the Norton Public Schools and was a member of the Westport Yacht Club.
